An Indian boy has broken 100 bones in his lifetime, earning him the nickname “glass bones” from the locals because of his rare condition.
Rohit, 12, from Uttar Pradesh, India, suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta, more commonly known as ‘brittle bone dіѕeаѕe’.
Rohit has a very serious condition where even a gentle touch can break one of his bones. Because of this, he can’t play with other kids. His condition has also stopped him from growing properly. At 12 years old, he only weighs 15 kg and is 17 inches tall. He has a rare case of osteogenesis imperfecta, a disease that makes bones fragile.

In the morning, he struggles to do many things without assistance, relying on his mother for help. Rohit has two older siblings, and he is younger than both of them.
Despite his condition, the young child dreams of becoming a singer when he grows up and is determined not to let his illness hold him back.
There is currently no cure for osteogenesis imperfecta, but individuals with the condition can undergo treatment to help protect and strengthen their bones. However, many of these treatments are not accessible in developing countries.
Rohit is shown brushing his teeth, adapting to his situation despite his severe condition. He is being taught to read by his older sister but experiences terrible pain throughout most of the day.
When he wakes up in the morning, he is unable to complete many tasks without help, leaving him dependent on his mother.
