One of Bernardo Silva’s former teammates teased him for having a terrible sense of fashion, calling his clothes “granddad clothes.”
“Berпardo Silva from Maпcheѕter Citу is teased about wearing clothes that look like they belong to his granddad, according to a friend who used to play on the same team.

Jemerson, who was with the midfielder at Monaco, said Silva’s fashion sense was the talk of the dressing room. The Portuguese international’s current teammate Ilkay Gundogan has previously admitted: “Bernardo always gets teased by the team because most of the players say he dresses like a 40 or 50-year-old man, like a grandfather even sometimes.”

He went on to praise his friend as someone ‘everyone likes’ in a tongue-in-cheek analysis of the Premier League’s top players on ESPN, titled ‘Fashion Master or Disaster.'”
“Jemerson, currently a center-back at French top-flight side Metz, has now confirmed that Silva has always had a reputation as a bad dresser among other footballers. He described him as a ‘very cool’ guy in an interview but added: ‘People made fun of him a lot, they said he liked to wear old men’s clothes. He would always appear with shirts on that had gone out of fashion. People used to tease him a lot.'”

“The 29-year-old Man City midfielder set alarm bells ringing earlier this month by revealing he could try to quit the club next year as he targets an emotional return to boyhood club Benfica. He told Portuguese subscription TV channel Canal 11: ‘I miss Portugal a lot. If I could go back in a year or two, I would. Not only because I would like to play for Benfica again, but because I miss my family and living in Portugal very much.'”
“In August 2014, Silva moved from Benfica to Monaco before joining Man City three years later for a rumored £43.5 million cost. His contract with The Citizens runs out in June 2026.

Even though Jemerson made fun of the midfield master’s clothing, he praised his skills on the football field. Jemerson found it challenging to defend against him during training because of his excellent dribbling and ability to retain possession.
According to Jemerson, the player was good at finishing and passing, making it difficult for opponents. Additionally, he highlighted the player’s tactical intelligence, remarkable vision of the game, and dedication to the team.
