Usually, elephants are seen walking calmly in Africa, but this young elephant decided to spice things up by showing off some breakdancing moves during his stroll.
A photographer named Graeme Mitchley, 43, captured the calf’s impressive dance routine in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
However, the baby elephant, who was with a group walking on the main road to the Lower Sabie rest camp, wasn’t happy to see Mr. Mitchley and tried to scare him away with his dance moves.

During a walk with its herd towards the Lower Sabie rest camp, the baby elephant wasn’t happy to see Mr. Mitchley. It tried to scare him away by dancing.
“The elephant seemed like it was dancing just for me. It entertained me for the whole trip,” said Mr. Mitchley.
“The road was crowded with other tourists, so I couldn’t move much. But I could tell the elephant didn’t like me being there.
“It tried to scare me off with its moves. If it was an older elephant, I would have left.”

During a safari, the pictures were taken on the H4-1 road in Kruger National Park. This road goes from Skukuza to Lower Sabie, which are two big camps in Kruger. Kruger is one of Africa’s largest game reserves.
“These teenage elephants like to act tough – they flap their ears and shake their heads.
“I’m not sure if this elephant was trying to show me it would sit on me, but it was funny.”
