Indeed, those memories might come rushing back of times when you juggled errands, being the sole caretaker of the home and all its chores. Well, you are not alone.
While some spouses may feel they didn’t have such a helping hand, they can find inspiration in this viral video showcasing a golden retriever carrying for its partner during labor.
These Golden Retrievers became an internet sensation. Initially, they were seen snoozing side by side. Then, as soon as the wife stirred, the dog sprang into action, dashing to the air conditioner switch to adjust the temperature.
Afterwards, it retrieved a tiny container in its mouth and trotted to the kitchen. Skillfully, it placed the basin in the sink and used its paw to turn on the faucet. Then, it happily returned to its partner, evidently proud of its accomplishment.
After she finished her drink, the dog retrieved her leash. Exercise remains crucial for a pregnant dog to stay fit. Instead of their owner taking them to the park, the dog seized the leash and accompanied his mate.
This provided the dog dad an opportunity to run other errands. Throughout the day, he ventured to the kitchen to assist in preparing his partner’s dinner.
Chicken, fish, shrimp, and some vegetables – a feast indeed. The dog dad assisted his human with the clean-up, even taking out the trash.
He was even a gentleman at dinner. Despite his hunger from all the effort, he allowed his partner to eat first. After all, she was also eating for their pups.
Later, when he invited her for a post-dinner run, something changed. His wife chose to stay at home.
Work had begun. As their furry parents sensed what was about to happen, they quickly prepared a nest for her. What was a room for just the two of them became the home of a loving family.
One by one, the puppies emerged from their mother. The owners carefully cleaned them before allowing them to nurse.
Meanwhile, they provided easily digestible nourishment to support her during the process.
The adorable retriever finally became a father, with seven healthy puppies, each sporting a unique, colorful collar, almost like a rainbow.
Now, the dog dad returns to household responsibilities. However, this time, he is not just caring for a dog. He is looking after his partner and their children.
